Rodeo Austin, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributing millions annually to the youth of Texas. Through the acclaimed Livestock Show, Fair and Rodeo, and other events, we work toward the advancement of our mission: Promoting Youth Education - Preserving Western Heritage. The scholarship program is at the heart of our charity mission, providing college scholarships to deserving youth. Rodeo Austin ranks as one of Central Texas' largest collegiate scholarship providers.
As a charitable organization, we rely on our more than 1,000 volunteers to make our event a success! The volunteers participate on more than 25 committees to administer our educational programs and plan annual events.

Scholarship Recipients are selected based on financial need, academic achievement and community involvement. Rodeo Austin establishes the selection criteria, then the partnering educational institutions make the specific student selections each year. To be considered for a Rodeo Austin Scholarship, you must be attending one of the partnering colleges or universities or have participated in 4-H or FFA programs.

Rodeo Austin Hours of Operation
Fairgrounds & carnival will be open daily March 10-24, 2018. The carnival is subject to close due to incliment weather and other safety precautions.
ProRodeo and Concert Performances
ProRodeo and Concert performances will take place each day, March 10-24, 2018. Performances begin at 7 p.m. Mondays – Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays. Arena Doors open one hour prior to start time.

Tickets can also be purchased on-site at the ticket windows during operating hours March 10 - 24, 2018. Cars that enter to purchase tickets will be subject to the parking fee.
Children 2 years old and younger are granted free fairgrounds admission and free Rodeo & Concert admission, seated on a parent's lap. Children 2 years old and younger will be subject to carnival ride fees.
All sales final. No refunds or exchanges. Carnival rides subject to closure due to weather.
Parking is $15 per vehicle cash only.
Buses, limos and vans must enter through Gate 4.
Our Pick Up and Drop Off lot is specifically designated for patrons dropping off children or for those utilizing ride sharing services. The Pick Up and Drop Off area is located off of Decker Lake Road and can be accessed through Gate 4. It is in Lot V and is marked with signage to make it easy to locate. Rodeo Austin has partnered with Hotels for Hope to bring you some great choices when it comes to Austin hotels. For every room night booked and stayed, Rodeo Austin receives a $2 donation towards the scholarship program!
All policies are event specific, so please call 512-919-3000 to verify prior to coming to the event. Personal cameras are permitted in the arena. Professional cameras and any type of video camera are prohibited in the arena.
Rodeo Austin will not allow firearms at any Rodeo Austin produced event. That includes concealed carry and open carry of firearms. While the open carry law is new, Rodeo Austin has a longstanding policy prohibiting firearms at events. Rodeo Austin hosts family-friendly events and takes seriously the safety and security of its attendees, hiring law enforcement and security officers to ensure public order is maintained.
